Our first blog post...
This is our first ever blog post, so we thought we'd take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about us and share what goes on behind the scenes. The Volkswagen Wedding Co. is run by Sam and her Dad, Richard - the venture started off small and has flourished over the last few years. Sam is a full time designer by day, but spends every spare second communicating with customers, organising the bookings and driving Herman the Photo Booth. Richard is the owner of VW Restorations, our sister company. So when he isn't fixing other peoples Campers, he's maintaining our fleet, preparing the cars for bookings and he even scrubs up well as a chauffeur!
When we first started out, we only had one Campervan - Victoria, she seemed very popular with the brides so since then we have added two more vehicles to the fleet. Herman our VW Photo Booth Campervan and Rosie the Convertible Beetle. Now in our third year of business, hopefully we will be adding more VW's to the fleet very soon! Watch this space!!
